When it comes to educating children, Ballancrest Academy at Blakeney proudly exceeds all state and national standards. Using a ScienceStart! curriculum with the incorporation of NC Foundation for Early Learning and Development standards, we have become the leader in advanced preschool education in our local area.

Our facility is strategically nestled away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet still close to everywhere you need to be. We are fully equipped with bright, beautiful classrooms suitable for the many activities geared around our hands-on science curriculum and an outdoor play area specially designed to foster interactive play.

Classrooms and Tuition Rates

Our classrooms are structured by age and led by degreed, caring, and extensively experienced teachers. We maintain small class sizes and low teacher-to-student ratios, so we can focus on each child's individual development. Lessons focus on cognitive skills, music, language building, science and social studies, and physical education. Our implementation of a smartboard system allows for the incorporation of technology. Tuition rates based on age/classroom are as follows:

Monday to Friday Tuition Schedule:

• Toddlers:
$406 week/$1,746 Month

• Two-Year Olds:
$377 week/$1,621 Month
• Three to Five Year Olds (Preschool & Pre-K Program):
$360 week/$1,548 Month

Monday, Wednesday, Friday Tuition Schedule:

$310 week/ $1,333 month
• Toddlers:
$294 week/ $1,264 month

• Two-Year Olds:
$280 week/$1,204 month
• Three to Five Year Olds (Preschool & Pre-K Program):

Tuesday and Thursday Tuition Schedule:

• Toddlers:

• Two-Year Olds:

Holiday Closings

Our facility observes various holidays throughout the year. We are closed for the following holidays in the 2022 calendar year:

• February 21st - Presidents' Day
• May 30th - Memorial Day
• July 4th - Independence Day

• September 5th - Labor Day
• November 24th & 25th - Thanksgiving Break
• December 23rd thru 30th - Winter Break

Nutrition

In addition to education, nutrition is an important element of our program. Your tuition includes a breakfast-style snack between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and afternoon snack from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our private chef plans delicious, nutritious meals for your child and introduces two or three new menu items each month. Our fruit, vegetables, and dairy products are all organic. Other menu items are either made in-house or selected based on nutritional value. Our facility is peanut- and tree nut-free, and no beef or pork products are used in our meals.

About Us

Ballancrest Academy at Blakeney is a family-owned learning center that has been providing excellence in early childhood education to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area since 2010. We offer full and part-time care to children from six weeks through transitional kindergarten. Our unique preschool program was designed by a teacher with over 30 years of experience and a Master's degree in Gifted Education.

Our curriculum is the best, most advanced, nurturing, and fun program designed to foster your child's growth and development. We strive to meet and exceed our parents' needs by providing individualized attention and care to their child. Our director is onsite every day to oversee operations and ensure the staff is providing the very best in educational services to all of our students.
